Living on the Grid in 2018

Living on the Grid in Sacramento is about to get a lot easier. With a ton of new and exciting developments, the city will become an even more popular destination, for millennials and families looking for a more urban lifestyle. With Sacramento’s Downtown/Midtown Grid ranking as the 20th most walkable city in the nation, it’s easy to see why the housing market is so competitive! From amazing farm to fork restaurants to easy access biking lanes, and an energetic nightlife, Sacramento’s Grid has it all. The Creamery is also being developed by BlackPine Communities, but will provide a different ambiance from the California Brownstones. According to BlackPine, these tri-level homes will be great opportunities for, “professionals, creatives, young families, and energetic mid-agers looking to reconnect with the eclectic and electric charms of the city.”

As the most affordable units for sale within the current developments, this project aims to add density and vibrancy to the midtown neighborhood to encourage urban growth.

5) The Residences at the Sawyer

This shiny and sleek development will sit atop The Sawyer, A Kimpton Hotel in Downtown Commons, directly across the Golden 1 Center. Options will include one, two and three-bedroom units as well as penthouses. Expansive windows throughout the building will offer stunning views of Sacramento and its bustling city life.
